A vast warehouse space is rendered intimate in scale through zones of color and millwork that create pockets, groves, and fields for object and furniture display. Composed of six separate buildings, the spaces are bridged by orthogonal axes and spontaneous shortcuts. Familiar details repeat, develop, and transform as the space unfolds and the circulation paths are discovered and re-discovered. As Project Architect, I produced schematic drawings, contract and filing sets, and coordinated construction administration.
